Welcome to Abbey Kay — a place to be filled with encouragement through real life struggles, a source to ethical fashion & trendy finds, & a guide to my life in Reno, NV.

A few things about me: I desperately want others to know they are seen, heard, & not alone. I believe you should love your body at every stage in life. I think finding a balance in everything you do is more important than striving for perfection. I will always drink black coffee & never not have black nails. I try my best to be open, honest, & real by showing up for others.

Always know that life is unpredictable, but it’s still worth experiencing every up & down it has to offer.

I’m so glad you’re here & can’t wait to connect!

I showed viewers the best places at The Summit to shop & buy holiday gifts for their loved ones. The Summit is such a versatile place to get gifts for everyone in your life, no matter what you’re looking…

It’s the holidays & that means it’s time to give gifts to all of our loved ones! I absolutely love giving gifts. It’s so much fun to me to pick out a gift (or a few) for friends & family that I truly know they’ll love. But does giving gifts totally freak you out? Are…

    whole foods holiday partnership

Cheers to it being the first day of December! I love this time of year & this month so much. There’s always so much to do, whether it’s partaking in a family tradition, like baking sugar cookies from scratch, or creating a new one, like decorating the tree with only red plaid ornaments, memories are…

monday morning encouragement: piece it back together

The Monday after Thanksgiving…who else feels a little tired? Between getting ready for the holiday, the actual celebrating, cleaning up, shopping, & family time, it’s all just a big blur of exhaustion to me. I love this time of year. I love the gloomy weather, comfy sweaters, cozy blankets, family traditions, enjoyable memories, & so…

monday morning encouragement: dream up & on

What’s getting in your way today from doing that something that you love? Is it your own doubt? Is it finances? Is it the creative rut you feel stuck in, or the people around you who say you just can’t do it? Whatever or whoever is stopping you from living out your dream today, I…

monday morning encouragement: more body love

I don’t ever remember a time when my pant size was less than double digits. When all of my friends in middle school & high school were wearing hip hugging jeans, I was wearing stretchy denim pants that were high waisted. I was okay wearing pants that weren’t “in” so that I could feel comfortable…

    monday morning encouragement:

Self-doubt. It’s totally the elephant in the room today. At least for me it has been. It’s the reason that I’ve written & re-written what to say about six times already. It’s made me second guess every single idea I’ve thought was good. It made me hit delete, delete, delete on my all of my…

    macy’s + levi’s

Fall is my most favorite time of the year. It’s a time of change on so many levels. The colors are vibrant, the weather gets colder, & we switch up our wardrobe to accommodate both. I’m so excited to announce that this fall I’ve teamed up with Macy’s to promote their exclusive Levi’s Wildflower Collection. It’s a limited…

monday morning encouragement: it’s revival time

I’ve sat here thinking about what to write for quite some time. I wanted the topic that brought this series back to be something profound. I wanted it to be some sort of word explosion that had everybody at the edge of their seats & begging for more. I’m not sure if I’ll have the…
