midtown adventure

I took these pictures on Saturday & I gotta say, these have to be one of my most favorite outfit shoots recently. Not just because of the outfit, let’s face it, I love all of my outfits. But because of how I spent my morning leading up to these few colorful shots. 

I got dressed in a rush & applied all my make-up in the car (no, I was not driving!) & headed to breakfast at one of my most favorite local places, Two Chicks. Great company & food was had. You must try their sweet potato pancakes. So yum! Then I took a short drive with my parents & had them stop inside my favorite place to get coffee, the one & not only Coffeebar in midtown Reno. Picked up an almond milk latte, another yum! I might add. And then we drove around looking for the best spot to capture this look, the feel of the morning, & the culture of midtown. We found this painted spot behind the local thrift shop Junkee & I was sold. I hopped out the car, worked my stuff & was left with this gold. 

Overalls were the look for the day while exploring my midtown. They’re fun & whimsical & so is my city. I love when your style fits your adventure & this one fit it so well.
