monday morning encouragement

I’ll be the one to say it… Being a girl is hard. Owning your own business is hard. Trying to be confident in who you are, & what you want to accomplish is hard. There are so many things that get in the way of us as people trying to live the best lives that we know we can live. Comparison creeps in, fear of failure freaks us out, & because of that we can spiral into the dark pit of not feeling good enough. But who wants to live like that? I’m sick of the vicious cycle that we all tend to live in. So, I’ll be the one to say it…

There is no one else out there like you & there is no dream out there like your dream. And I believe that there is no reason for you to not be living confidently everyday knowing these truths.

You are such a bright shining light in your field. You have the greatest ideas, & the boldest voice that must be used to accomplish the dream from within you. I truly believe this about you, & I want you to believe the same thing as well. No one can be you, or think like you, or create like you. No one can make like you, or present like you, or look like you. No one can love like you, or laugh like you, or take leaps like you can. No one can be you, & that’s a beautiful thing.

Dreams are what drive us to be the people we were always destined to be. Think about that… Something crossed your path one day that sparked curiosity inside of you that then grew into a flicker of hard work & into the raging fire of passion that is now your dream. Are you really going to let the feet of comparison & doubt stomp your dream out into a pile of useless ash?

Be confident in who you are & what you do. Mom so hard. Entrepreneur like nobody’s business. Manage like it’s your calling. And create like no one’s watching. You’ve got this girl (& guy!). You have the tools to be something amazing, now use them to scrape away the doubt & leave behind all that shines like gold.

Always know that your dream is worth living.
