Holiday cookies are one of my favorite things about this time of year. My mom is the queen at making good cookies & has been teaching me her ways ever since I was little. Her secrets include, but are not limited to the kind of cookie sheet you use, the amount of time you bake cookies, & how long to leave them on the cookie sheets before you allow them to cool. It’s literally a science on how to make a good cookie & I’m sharing with you all a holiday cookie recipe that is so simple & tasty!
Holiday Oatmeal Cookies
Here’s how simple it is:
- Follow this recipe for Quaker oatmeal cookies.
- Use Crisco instead of butter. Trust me, way better.
- Add dried cranberries, dried cherries, & raisins. This makes them more festive!
- AND THAT’S IT!!!
These cookies are so good & delicious, & they take minutes to put together. I made 5 dozen beginning to end in about 45 minutes! They’re a great flavored holiday cookie to make this weekend or even tonight!
Oh! Maybe even try adding white chocolate chips for another flavor kick!
