Life sometimes leaves you at a loss for words. Not knowing what to say, not knowing what to do, not knowing what to feel. I’m there right now.
If you’re where I’m currently at, I could encourage you to move on. I could say that you just need to build up the courage to get past this rut so you can not be there anymore. But I’m not going to take that route today.
Today, I’m gonna tell you that it’s okay to not be okay.
It’s okay to be sad.
It’s okay to be upset.
It’s okay to be hurt.
It’s okay to to not know what to say.
It’s okay to not know how you’re feeling.
It’s okay to just look at life & be like, well this sucks & just dwell fully in that.
The world tells you that you have to constantly be strong & always have it all together. Well I’m telling you that don’t, because if you take a close look around then you’ll see that nobody is living a life that isn’t broken or messed up in one way or another.
We’re all struggling to stay afloat. We’re all in some sort of pain to some degree. We’re all not strong enough to move on, yet.
The strength will come. The courage will build. And you will pick yourself up & move on, eventually.
But for now, I want you to know, that it’s okay to be sorry.
It’s okay to be mad.
It’s okay to be apologetic.
It’s okay to feel remorse.
It’s okay to not like where you’re at in life.
It’s okay to not be satisfied with the outcome of a situation.
It’s okay to not be okay.
And don’t ever let somebody tell you otherwise. Because sometimes not being okay is exactly what we need to be. And that’s okay.
