It’s the last day of 2015 & I seriously can’t believe it’s already here. Honestly, it’s so wild to think about how fast time moves & how much just a single year can bring. A lot can change & a lot can stay the same, & you never know what the next 364 days will ever bring when January 1st hits. I’m glad pictures exist though, so that you can take a look back & reflect on events, memories, & time’s in your life that mattered. And for a blogger like me, what’s a better way to document that than through killer outfits? So low & behold, here’s a look back at my 2015 through outfits.
We started out with three looks in LA. I was working at Forever 21 at the time (it’s weird to think that was this year) so my wardrobe mainly consisted of that store. I probably wouldn’t even wear these looks anymore, expect maybe the last if I were going to the beach, which is what I did that day!
Mustard yellow is my go to color whenever I choose to wear something other than black! I loved pairing a short turtle tank under this stitched top & wearing it with leather shorts to church one Sunday. Also, look at that brown hair!
Boho babe in black dresses forever & ever! This is the year that I became a boho queen & I’m still fully in love with that aesthetic.
Off the shoulder was my jam & everybody knew it too. I rocked these type of pieces all spring/summer long.
An urban overall look for a day chilling in my town’s midtown district. Easy outfits that came together quickly became a favorite of mine this year.
The kick off to summer started with a fun romper shoot with my friend Taylor of Taylor Kern Photography. This piece is so fun & she captured it so well!
While vacationing in Georgia I got the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with So Worth Loving & it was the biggest dream come true! This will forever be a favorite memory of mine for years to come.
Mid summer created a perfect time for a second shoot with Taylor where we captured & celebrated my blog turning three! So much fun & I love the summery looks we captured. Plus, props! So fun.
My friend is a florist & we played around with some floral crowns one summer night & it was a dream. Especially since I got to wear this all lace white dress from Top Knot Goods.
This ombré dress stole my heart when I spotted it in the local shop Love Culture & I’ve been in love with it ever since. It’s just the prettiest thing ever.
T-shirts can make for cool outfits too. I proved that a few times this year.
These overalls see the light of day weekly & I don’t even care if this look resembles that of a lumberjack because I totally kill it. Loved wearing this to Thanksgiving dinner.
I ended the year with a fun winter ice queen birthday shoot with my friend Taylor again & I wish I could just hire her to follow me around always because she captures the most rad photos.
This was one of my last looks of the year & it captures another great staple; the lace-up top. I love this trend & totally see it carrying well into the summer which I’m stoked for.
This year I bought my first clothing items from Free People & have totally fallen in love with the brand. They make my style of simplistic & boho & it’s totally my dream line!
And there you have it, a look at my year through outfits, & this wasn’t even all of them. It’s always so crazy to me how much your style can change in just a few months. Or how quickly you can forget what you were doing/wearing just shy of a year ago. Look at all the hats I wore this year that I honestly don’t even remember wearing! Fashion & style will always be a love of mine & I’m so glad I have these images to capture it’s evolution & this space to share it on. I hope the new year brings you all that you wish for, & that you work hard at making that happen. Thank you so much for spending another year with me, I’m forever grateful for your support & interest in my blog.
Happy New Year!!! Cheers to 2016 with more life, style, & encouragement coming your way!
