I’m so tired. That’s the cry heard round the world on Monday mornings & it echoes throughout the day & into your life. I’m so tired, aren’t you? But I’m not just talking physically, or mentally from lack of sleep. I’m talking in general.
I’m so tired of feeling overweight.
I’m so tired of caring what others think about me.
I’m so tired of not feeling good enough.
I’m so tired of letting people, including myself down.
I’m so tired of being selfish at times.
I’m so tired of shaming myself for doing x,y, & z again.
I’m so tired thinking less of myself.
I’m so tired of thinking others are less than me.
I’m so tired of living this way.
But the good news is, I don’t have to.
You can change your way of thinking & stop letting your thoughts & unwanted actions control you. Know that those negative thoughts you think about yourself are lies. Know that we all forget to care for the person next to us from time to time. Be encouraged that you’re not alone in that mental battle. We’re all struggling with this & wanting to change. Today, stop being so tired & be aware & awake.
Know that you’re perfect how you are.
Know that you are good enough.
Know that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of others.
Today, compliment yourself & someone else too. That sort of encouragement can take someone a long way in a life where we’re all just so tired of being tired.
