It’s Thanksgiving week & I’m thinking real hard about how we got here so fast! I feel like every year goes by in a normal pace, but then once October hits we blink & it’s a new year. So much has happened this year & it’s easy to forget unless we try hard to remember. I’m truly grateful for so much this last year has brought me. As I reflect & think of all I still want to accomplish in life, I can’t help but be proud of what I’ve already done this year alone.

My little blog here hit 10,000 views in February which is nuts because now just 8 months later I exceeded 24,000. That’s nuts! And I’m so thankful for that. This year in March I did something I never thought I could do, I stuck to an eating plan that actually worked & helped me learn so much about myself & my body. I’ll forever be proud of myself for starting a healthier journey. In May I got a job at Forever 21 & just a few months after working there I was awarded with being employee of the month for October. I love working there so much & am so appreciative of all I have learned from the job & my coworkers are ones I won’t ever forget. Throughout this year, I’ve been featured on multiple blogging sites & have been offered free product to advertise through my Instagram. I’ve connected with so many lovely ladies & shops across America & even up in Canada. It’s amazing to me what social media can do to truly connect the world. This year I’ve also gotten to see my forever favorite band for the 5th time. I’ve met tons of new friends & built some awesome relationships. I ventured out & explored my own city & chose to attend a new church completely on my own. To say the least, this year has been a really good one & I’m so appreciative of all I’ve experienced & have been able to learn from in 2014. I know we still have quite a few things left to celebrate this year, including my birthday, but so much greatness has happened that I just wanted to highlight & not forget.

This Thanksgiving I’m thankful for time & what it can do. It can help one to grow & overcome. It can take you from season to season & place to place. So much has happened & I can’t help but smile. I’m thankful for all the support from my family & friends & followers towards this blogging journey I’m on. It’s a fun one, & I’m glad you’re all along for the ride.
