haute paris

I’m into white muscle tees lately. No idea why. But I’m just loving the look of them for summer & they’re all I can think about. This simple one I found at Ross for only 5 bucks. FIVE BUCKS. Yeah, like who passes up a deal like that? No one! Especially not me. And this phrase just sealed the deal for me. Honestly, I had no idea what it meant at first but I knew it meant something fashionably cool. So I looked it up. Just now. Like just now, literally. Google defines it as “fashionably elegant or high-class” which is what I was guessing. And in modern France, haute couture is a “protected name” that can be used only by firms that meet certain well-defined standards which is super snobby & totally a Paris thing to do. I kinda love it. I don’t agree with it, because I of course shop super cheap & affordable. Where I imagine this “standard” in Paris is a higher quality than anything I would ever even dream of owning. But I like the attitude behind it & that’s why I rocked it.

Very nice monochrome ensemble. You’ve also got a nice blog, please also check mine out if you haven’t done so recently and let me know what you think.
