earth day mermaid

I’ve got two topics to quickly discuss in the blog post. One being the giveaway I’m hosting on my fashion Instagram. And the other being that I finished my Whole 30 food challenge.

First off, I’m teaming up with the lovely Valery Brenan from With Love From Rigby to giveaway one of her Gatsby inspired headpieces. She sent a few of them to me a few weeks ago & I’m absolutely in love with them! They’re so adorable & versatile for all types of looks! I styled my first outfit with them yesterday & it was so much fun! I normally do my hair pretty plain & simple but I loved setting it up & trying something new by adding in her pieces. I wore it with a mint crop too tee & some skinny jeans & cut out white leather flats. The look made me feel like a mermaid princess! Next, yesterday was day 30 on my whole 30 food journey. A few posts back I talked about how I was only eating fruits, vegetables, & meat for 30 days & cutting everything else out. Well I did it & the results were nuts! I only lost 12 pounds but my clothes fit me so differently & I can feel that I’ve gained a ton of muscle. I’m so happy with the results that I’m gonna continue it for at least two more weeks. I’ll post more on this crazy adventure soon, but for more info check out @jennaskitchen on Instagram.
