california lovin

Yesterday I took a quick little day trip to Sacramento with my parents to go thrifting. If was so nice to get out of town for the day. We checked out our favorite Sac town spot, the Antique Trove. They have tons of stuff from 50’s vintage to country rustic & even little collectible items & figurines. I love going there because they carry both mine & my mom’s style of stuff, which is way different! After we spent hours moseying our way around there, we headed to the a Roseville fleamarket I love fleamarkets! The cheap clothes & fruit are the best things about it, both of which I got yesterday. Since we were doing all thing Cali yesterday I chose to wear a colorful bohemian style maxi dress with a slicked back low pony. This is one of my favorite summer stresses I own. I bought it last summer on sale at Forever 21 & saved it for weeks so that I could wear it to my cousins wedding. It’s just so flowy & flattering & has these perfectly placed cutouts on the sides. It’s just such a simply beautiful dress that I wish I could wear every day during summer. Also, I never EVER wear my hair like this but I totally loved it for yesterday’s look/adventure. All in all, it was a great relaxing weekend & I wish I could relive it every weekend!

Okay, I lied. These pics were taken in downtown Sparks & not Cali… But I did go there yesterday! And this background is so good, especially for this outfit. I just ran out of time to take them in the Golden state! Turned out for the better anyway! Hope you lovely pals had a great weekend!
