Let’s talk about my fun little challenge for the week! Starting yesterday throughout the rest of the week, I am going to be wearing outfits only from my from my “outfits i want to wear” board on Pinterest. There are all sorts of fun outfits floating around on there that I love & am inspired by, so I pin them to try out later. I always forget about them though so I thought it’d be fun to take a chunk of em & wear em throughout this next week. Recreating outfits is such a fun way to share fashion inspiration with others & help spark new outfit ideas. I’m challenging my followers to try this with me too & upload a pic on any social networking site by using the hashtag #abbeykayrecreate.

My first outfit was pretty simple with just a denim button up shirt, black jeans, & black combat boots. I’ve been loving this look as plain as it is, but there was just something about the colors & the type of boots that made me swoon. It was edgy yet girly & fierce. I wore it with such confidence yesterday. I love when an outfit can do that.
