Nerd Cupcakes

The other night I attempted to make vanilla cupcakes with little rainbow Nerd candies baked inside. My coworker Dominic came up with this crazy idea one day and challenged me to do it. So I do and let me tell you… They are seriously the best cupcakes I have ever made! They kind of tasted like you were eating a Skittles candy. All I did was make a regular recipe of vanilla cupcakes and then mixed the candy straight into the batter. And when I baked them I think the sour crunchy parts fell to the bottom while the color just melted in the middle. Either way they were delicious with the white chocolate frosting that I added on top. I love coming up with new cupcake flavors to try out. Thanks Dom!
